เครื่องวัดเสียงสะสม (Noise dosimeter) ใช้ในการวัดปริมาณการสัมผัสทางเสียงที่วัดในช่วงเวลาหนึ่ง ซึ่งโดยปกติจะมีไมโครโฟนซึ่งต้องนำไปติดเครื่องไว้บริเวณปกเสื้อ

ผู้ใช้งานสามารถเริ่มวัดเมื่อเข้าทำงานและจนสิ้นสุดการทำงานในแต่ละวัน โดยจะทำการถ่ายโอนข้อมูลการวัดจากตัวเครื่องมาที่คอมพิวเตอร์ ซึ่งข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับประวัติการสัมผัสเสียงรบกวนของผู้ปฏิบัติงานสามารถนำมาประเมินหรือควบคุมการได้รับเสียงที่อาจทำให้เกิดอันตรายต่อผู้ปฏิบัติงานได้

เครื่องมือวัดปริมาณเสียงสะสม (Noise Dosimeter) เหมาะสำหรับการตรวจประเมินการสัมผัสเสียงในสถานที่ทำงาน (Workplace Noise Assessment) เพื่อควบคุมระดับเสียงที่ผู้ปฎิบัติงานได้รับให้เป็นไปตามเกณฑ์กำหนด ทั้งระดับเสียงเฉลี่ยตลอดเวลาการทำงาน (Time Weighted Average-TWA), %Dose ตามมาตรฐาน IEC61252
