- One or Two-Point Calibration: Automatic calibration can be performed at 1 or 2 points with a choice of 3 buffers (0.30 g/L, 3.00 g/L, and 30.0 g/L). For greater accuracy, standard solutions should be calibrated at a temperature as close as possible to the temperature of the sample.
- On-Screen Instructions: Clear and easy to use on-screen instructions take you through all of the steps in performing a calibration and taking measurements.
- Sodium Ion Selective Electrode: The FC300B sodium ion selective electrode, comprised of a glass body and sodium sensitive membrane. The sodium sensitive membrane should be conditioned before performing a calibration. The conditioning of the electrode is a two-step process in which the glass is etched then rehydrated. Etching removes a thin layer of sensitive glass from the sodium membrane, exposing a sodium-containing fresh surface. Rehydrating after etching provides optimum conditions for the exchange of sodium ions between the membrane and solution.
- Fixed Temperature Compensation: The HI931100 offers fixed temperature compensation of sodium measurements at 25°C.
